They were later adopted and refined by the Japanese into Tetsubin: Graceful, elegant vessels for brewing and serving tea. Made of specially purified cast iron, they are symbolic of strength and unity. A coating of black enamel is applied to the inner surfaces to help prevent the development of rust. A removable stainless steel infusing basket is supplied for ease of preparation,. As with all “tetsubin” (cast iron teapots) this will brew a marvelous pot of tea and keep it hot for quite some time.

Cast Iron Teapot set really cute and great for gifts or for youself if you’re a regular tea drinker. it’s a little darker colored in person than in pictures. be cautious when using the cast iron cups, they get VERY hot. makes at least 3 small cups of tea.
Beautiful Teapot I had seen this exact teapot at a mall in a specialty shop and they were much more expensive there.I love this teapot.It is a little smaller than the one I seen at the mall but it really is all I needed so I’m happy. This one also came with two tea cups , the one at the mall sold them separate, so the price is what convinced me to purchase this one.I am happy with it.
Love it. Cuter in person! My teapot arrived a day early and I love it! The color is not as bright as it appears in the picture which worked out great for me! The style of the teapot is flatter than it appears in the picture which, again, was a welcomed surprise for me!! Love it and can’t wait to use it!!
