Very nice, but…. The items are as they appear on site and seem a very good quality. BUT, they are NOT red. Like the photo shows, they are a milk chocolate. I am used to site photos sometimes being off color, so went by the description. The matching trivet I bought from the same retailer, also called red, is a perfect match. At least they are consistent. Enamel flaked off within two weeks This is a beautiful teapot. Heavy cast iron, great design, perfect size. I loved everything about it.Unfortunately, within two weeks of using it, the black enamel coating started flaking off around the rim of the teapot. The instructions say to only clean with water and a dry cloth – no cleaning products – and I obediently complied, so I’m quite sure this wasn’t due to user error.
