This is also PERFECT as a hibachi or fondue burner! I purchased this to use as a small hibachi. It’s larger than the other products sold as a “hibachi” at 4.75″ diameter, and 2.5″ tall. Rather than using a tea-light, I use hardwood lump charcoal (which burns hotter than regular charcoal and lasts much longer). The 8 holes at the bottom of the base allow air in so that the charcoal burns. I keep the top lid on when I want less flame touching the food, and take the lid off when using a wire rack.
