Was pleasantly surprised! I must admit, I don’t usually read cozy mysteries that are set outside of the US, but I was intrigued by this book and decided to take a chance and I have to admit, I’m glad I did!

Great Mystery This is the first book in the Oxford Tearoom Mysteries and I liked it. Gemma left her successful job in Australia to come home to England to open a tearoom. Everything is looking good until she finds a dead American on the patio outside the tearoom. And it’s the same American that was being a bully in her tearoom the day before and he has one of her scones stuffed in his mouth. I liked this book because of the way the author described the area. Yes, will admit that the title and the fact that the Author has resided over time in many intriguing and fun places is what first drew me to this mystery, and the fact that Oxford University was one of the first places I visited when once a young 20 something on my first journey to the UK.
