Three best friends met every Tuesday for twenty-six years. And then they stopped. From the author of the bestselling Sweeney Sisters Series comes a novel of friendship, family, and hope. When new next-door neighbors Georgia, Midge, and Lula first assembled on Georgia’s porch in Charleston for sweet tea, they couldn’t have known their gathering was the beginning of a treasured tradition. For twenty-six years they have met on Tuesdays at four o’clock, watching the seasons change and their children grow up, supporting each other in good times and in bad. With their ambitions as different as their personalities, these best friends anticipate many more years of tea time. And then, one Tuesday, Georgia shares news that brings their long-standing social hour to an abrupt halt. And that’s only the beginning as unraveling secrets threaten to alter their friendship forever.

I received an ARC of Sweet Tea Tuesdays in exchange for an honest review I received an ARC of Sweet Tea Tuesdays in exchange for an honest review. This story is about 3 neighboring ladies who become the best of friends and how they deal with some of life’s unexpected challenges. It’s a story of friendship, love and family, and covers topics that many of us can relate to. At times, it’s a very heartbreaking, emotional read so I suggest you keep a box of tissues handy. I definitely would recommend reading this. When I finished, not only had I teared up but I really…

There Are Some Things To Love About This Book, Yet… The author is new-to-me, and I in no way want to offend her or her fans; there are some things to love about this novel. First of all, I loved that the three main characters were 50-something women. I wish more authors wrote to this age group of readers. We tend to be voracious readers at this stage in our lives. I’ve always loved a literary theme based on lifelong friendships. As people progress through various stages of life, changes are sure to happen and friendships can become strained…

A lovely tale about friendship, growth and real life tribulations With lots of emotion and must-have-a-tissue moments, this tale of three women draws in and hits square in the heart. It’s refreshing to see main characters over the age of fifty, each with so much experience and yet, things to learn. Their lives are touching, and their problems real. It’s easy to get lost in the pages and feel for them as they make mistakes and find answers. I did wonder about some of their decisions, but it was definitely a read to cuddle up with and enjoy.
