Good info amd nice recipes I’m trying to start to drink more tea and this is a great place to start if you want to learn more about tea, the traditions in different places, the different types of tea, and good snacks to serve with it.

terpsichore9 says:

Misinformation This book is filled with misinformation. It categorizes the brewing time for green teas as between 160 and 170 when they’re much more varied, as well as labeling Pu-Erh as a specific tea, instead of a category of teas such as green, white, yellow, black, and oolong.

Alex Thomas says:

Good survey/ intro text Not encyclopedic, but not expected to be. For anyone who just wants to know the basics (and sometimes the complete basics include things that those with experience might not know), this is and excellent little intro and reference book.
