Sturdy, Durable, Clean, Pleasing I bought this mug set about a year ago and I wanted to come here to say it’s worth the money. I bought it at a local shop and paid a little more than Amazon. I didn’t want to spend that much, but I liked the idea of watching the tea infuse through the clear walls. Anyways, to the review:

The perfect oversized mug for tea! I was hopeful when I ordered this mug, and have been nothing but pleased by it! It is an oversized (I brew for 2 cups worth) mug but also VERY light. Sometimes I get tendonitis in my wrist and lifting mugs can irritate it, but this mug is at least half the weight of my normal ceramic large mug I’ve been using. The strainer is perfect for all kinds of tea, and the holes are small enough for any herbal or rooibos you throw at it.The lid fits great if you want to steep & keep hot, and it’s perfect…

Wonderful, durable, clean I have two of the turquoise-banded of these mugs, and I have to hope that they continue to be available for a long time. These are very large mugs (16 oz. is a pint!) made of a borosilicate glass like they use with lab glassware. So the glass is very light and thin, as with handblown glass, but very elastic and not at all inclined to break. I have, more often than I like to admit, accidentally banged other mugs against this one, and never caused any damage at all.
