Terrible French Press!!!! One cup arrived shattered, packaging was not secure. French Press failed to strain out coffee grounds, so you end up with a cup of coffee full of coffee grounds. After examining the item, the circumference of the French Press screen is actually smaller than the inside of the ceramic French Press carafe, making the actual pressing mechanism totally useless.
Very nice looking set though These are so cheap because of the design defect mentioned in other reviews. The french press screen isn’t big enough, and particulates slip through. If you use a VERY course grind, and are EXTREMELY careful plunging it, you can minimize them, but they still get through.Very nice looking set though, especially for the discounted price.
