Good Tumbler, Strainer Basket “Leaves” a lot to be desired… I must say, I really like using the tumbler for blooming and display teas (ie. teas that sink to the bottom of your mug, and stay there!), but when it comes to using it for loose teas that float, I got more leaves than if I had just used my coffee press, or even a tea ball.I drink a very coarse mate tea, and the leaves manage to come through the tension tabs cut into the side of the strainer, and I end up drinking a lot of it. Great tea tumbler I love this tumbler because it’s got a sturdy top that doesn’t leak, the little tea strainer stays securely in place and tea stays hot for about an hour an a half. I was a little wary of this at first because the strainer didn’t look like it would stay in based on the photos. Great product. This is well made and I really like it. The only problem I encountered was trying to use it with Rooibos tea. The holes in the strainer are about the diameter of a piece of spaghetti, so the bits of tea were able to get through. Otherwise, I love it. If you drink finely textured teas, you may want to use a screen type strainer. The strainer snaps in securely and the lid screws on tightly and has a silicone ring to prevent leaks.
