Matt Hileman says:

It’s decent. Lid fit is good and the glass seems moderately thick. It is nice to be able to see the process of brewing your tea. My major complaint is that the button of the lid is not independent of the rest of the lid. The button is actually just an indent of the glass used in the lid, if that makes any sense. In other words, instead of the inside of the lid being perfectly concave, it has this indent for the button. When I pour my tea out of the Gaiwan I put my finger on the lid button to keep the lid in…

Very nice gaiwan. Good quality gaiwan for a good price. It’s a very nice size, both for making and serving tea, and for drinking tea.
