It opens easily to fill This clam shell type tea strainer works really well. It opens easily to fill. It also closes pretty securely. It is quite large however so you really need to use a large mug rather than a tea cup for steeping. It appears to be well made and durable. Only time will tell if it is truly rust resistant.

Not worth it I was very excited to receive the Minoniso New Durable and Rust Resistant Stainless Steel Mesh Tea Ball in the mail. My daughter and I have been getting into using loose tea and experimenting with different flavors. I purchased this for use with some of the finer teas that we have since it is a mesh with smaller holes than most of my diffusers. The tea stays inside the ball! Highly Recommended! Not all tea infusers are alike, do not be fooled folks. Some of the cheap ones rust real fast, this is not one of those I really like the flavor this allows to seep from loose tea. Many of the teas that are fresh, and good for you are loose.
