Decent but tea comes out This tea ball does what it’s supposed to unless you have tea with small pieces. I put chai tea into the ball and some of the pieces are fairly small and tend to come out of where the ball comes together.
Stainless Steel??? Not at the base where the 2 baskets are joined, but when they meet to be closed. there is a little pin that helps the two basket to be aliened. that pin got some sort of build up after having had the mesh ball in the tea for a few hours. i don’t believe this pin is stainless steel and i don’t think it is safe to use!!!
Fell apart during first use Either I got a faulty one or the build quality is just very poor, either way I sent it back. It was way smaller than I expected, almost uselessly small, and then on top of that both the hinge and the closing mechanism broke off during the first use. Sent it back and got a refund within days, I love Amazon.
