Good enough. Not really perfect. Works, but wish it had a perforated bottom like other models. The holes on the top are much larger than the holes on the sides, so it allows more fine tea particles into the water. Also, quite large. It is better suited for a large pot, rather than a single cup. I ended up buying another brand and downgrading this to use for guests.

Great for gallon batches These are the best for making a gallon of tea at a time. Top quality and great manufacturing. This is the second that I have bought and went through a lot of others until I found the right one.The top also fits tight which is a must with me as noting worse than the top falling off while brewing tea. This is too big for a cup of tea and would only recommend for gallon batches.
