Ehhh maybe ? The tea pot is very large that’s the good part. My tea pot looks used there are scratch on the surface and dried sticky tea around the poring spout. Debating weather to return it, it was supposed to be a gift for my mother-in-law.
Whistles in a whisper It’s well-made and works well when I pour. But the whistle is barely audible. I’m keeping it because another, identical kettle has the same problem.
