This electric kettle is awesome! I bought this kettle to keep at my office to make my own coffee because the coffee/water provided sucks. Just used it for the first time this morning and I’m impressed. It is so quiet! I kept looking at it to make sure it was working because it was so quiet. I’m buying another one for home. Highly recommend this kettle especially for people who only make one cup.

It stopped working after a few months with burning smell. After a few months’ occasional use, it stopped working with burning smell. I found the one of the wire connected to the heating coil was burned and disconnected. I contacted Bodum customer service, nobody answered, however they sent me an email to ask me how I would rate the support I received. Well, I did not receive anything at all.Now I realized this product was manufactured pretty poorly. It may cause a fire hazard. If you already bought it, please be careful.

Broke after light use. Used it maybe a few dozen times and then it just broke. Worked fine for a few months and then it just randomly stopped working altogether. Piece of junk.
