happy anniversary to my kettle I’ve only used it a few times and the bottom is pitting. The opening is too small to get your hand in to give it a good scrubbing so I can see why it will build up scaling like others have complained about. I will need to find a brush to get it cleaned out before it damages the pot. It is great looking 5 stars for that. Ease of use and serviceability 1 star.

Control keys failing after 3 years. I would give this item 5 Stars, except some of the control keys have failed within my 3 years of owning it. I would expect such an ostensibly premium product to last a lot longer.

CMF says:

Good for 3 months, then rust… Works well as a kettle, but after 3 months of frequent use (3-4 times a week), rust developed inside the kettle where the spout inserts into the body of the kettle and has started to erode into the plastic base.
