but I do love the form and function I have only made a few cups of tea with this kettle, but I do love the form and function. I was a little disappointed in the color of the Blue (just a little). The Tea Kettle’s color of dark blue is not a vivid as pictured on the web site or even the actual box it came in. If you asked me someone color corrected the image to make the blue a little less gray. Is it a deal breaker breaker? No, not at all it is still a great teakettle. Just something I noticed. One star for aesthetic design. When I used it the first time, I was unhappy with the spout. You can’t keep it open unless you apply constant pressure to the bottom of the handle. So I brought a pot-full to a boil, hoping the whistle would alert me. There was no whistle, just the sound of boiling water sputtering all over my stove top. So after I steeped my tea bags, I proceeded to pour the tea into a 2-quart pitcher. It pours very badly. Now I have hot tea all over my counter top. It’s cute and a nice color, but…
