A decent, light, very cheap kettle. I received this kettle yesterday and I was immediately struck by how thin the metal is compared to other kettles I’ve owned/used. It almost feels like it was made for camping. Whether you consider this to be a good thing or a bad thing is down to the individual. It is very, very light, which makes it ideal for older people, but I have no idea how durable it will be. If it breaks I’ll be sure to write another review though! The whistle is pretty quiet. It is certainly not piercing…

Good kettle for the money The thing I like best about this teakettle is its size — there are only 2 of us, and it makes enough water for 2 large cups of tea; we don’t need anything bigger than that. Plus it is cute. It’s true what the other reviewers said about it being made of thin metal, but what would one expect for this low price? It boils water, and that’s all I care about. I have had this kettle for a good 5 years now, and it is still in good condition. I just ordered another for my mother-in-law.

Rusty! I got this teakettle for about 2 months. I used it almost every day. I noticed there was rust on the edges into the kettle. So sad, isn’t it suppose to be stainless steel? 🙁
