Very Pretty, but e Careful Pouring and Overheating Causes Handle to Become Melted This is so pretty and I loved the look of it; then I heated water and tried to pour it into my coffee press. The very hot water came spilling out and got all over the counter. After a few months of thinking I was a klutz, I finally only poured when the press or iced tea pitcher was in the sink.
Love it but does drip while pouring I love this tea kettle. It is exactly as I imagined after reading the reviews. Adorable, but not perfect I love the look of this kettle, and I love the size. It’s just big enough to make 2 mugs of coffee/tea. However, the handle does get hot, and I need to use a towel or something to pick up the hot kettle. It also gets a musty smell if I leave any bit of water in it after use. Being that I use it twice a day, that’s kind of annoying. I just wash it frequently. Maybe it’s because it’s enameled? I never had this problem with stainless steel kettles. But, nothing bothered me enough to make me return…
