Very Poor Quality Tea Kettle The product states: High Quality Stainless Steel. False! After a few weeks use, the inside starts to have rusty spots. Worse still, the boiled water comes out with small black debris. When I wiped the inside with a paper towel – black stains! I suspect the substance might be harmful to my health. Extremely disappointed. False product description. What a shame!

Well designed but the paint didn’t hold up. I bought this teapot two years ago. It was about 20 dollars, and though it came with a slight flaw in the red paint near the base, I thought it was overall a pretty good deal. It has worked well, the whistle still functions, the button that operates the spring loaded opening works good. The black knob on the top of the fill lid finally broke off today. I think I can glue it back on. The design of the pot is good, and I’ve never burned my hand on escaping steam or had any trouble filling…

Poor quality, not durable I’ve owned this kettle for several months. The metal is very thin and the pretty colored lacquer has peeled almost completely off. It is extremely easy to scratch it off and the slightest ding damages the kettle permanently. I did like how soft the whistle was, and appreciated how it looked before the coating peeled away. But I already need to go buy a replacement and that makes this purchase a total waste. I suspect some people are writing reviews before seeing how long the thing actually…
