this kettle’s handle is plastic and not wood like you were led to believe As another reviewer said, this kettle’s handle is plastic and not wood like you were led to believe. Also, the handle was tacked on crooked. Other than that, the pour is ok and not as accurate as the longer more expensive kettles.

Great kettle for a great price! I’m gonna be perfectly honest, I wasn’t 100% sure that this kettle was going to be that good. It’s only $25, but it is an amazing value. At that price, you’re getting the quality of something like a Hario Buono for $10 less. The stream it produces is extremely even and easy to control. It also heats up water very quick. One thing I would recommend is to leave the cap a little loose, so you can peek and see if it’s boiling or not. The wooden handle is phenomenal — feels great in the hand, and…

But it is not high quality: the handle looks like wood but is really plastic that chipped at the bottom within a week. The metal finish appears to have a clear glaze over the top that scratched up right away.
