A lovely example of the traditional cast-iron teapots known in Japan as tetsubin, this pot with its delicate, hand-cast, raised design highlighted in black is not only prized as a collectible, but also brews 20 ounces of tea perfectly. Its interior is glazed in enamel, so it won’t rust or corrode; nor will its stainless-steel infuser. To make soothing, full-flavored tea, simply spoon loose tea leaves into the infuser, pour on simmering water, and allow to steep for three to five minutes. The heavy cast-iron construction retains heat so well, it ensures second cups will still be hot. This Cast Iron tea pot set is in Green color The set includes: 1 Tea Kettle (7.5″ Dia. 3.5″H), 20 oz 2 Tea Cups (3″Dia. 2″H) 1 Removable Stainless Steel Infusing Basket. 3 Pc Tea set.

MORE THAN I EXPECTED!!! I am a rookie in the tea world. But there’s nothing wrong with learning how to make and drink tea in one of many traditional ways. The tetsubin is small (descriptive measurements are accurate) but its more than enough for my girlfriend and I.It has very good craftmanship and solidity. If you follow the instructions on how to use it and clean it, it will last you a lifetime.DO NOT place over stovetop. You are supposed to heat the water separately. This makes the process longer but it forces you to…

Beautiful I bought this for my mother. When I showed it to her and her friend, the first thing the friend said was, “Oh my god, that is beautiful”. It is a very sturdy/heavy teapot and the cups are strong too. Restaurant-quality. I’m a guy and don’t often think such things as beautiful, but it is a very nice teapot. Enough capacity for 4-5 small cupfulls.
