The best tea kettle available! I used my first Joyce Chen ceramic tea kettle for at least ten years, and only purchased a new one because I broke the first one. It is actually very sturdy and only broke because I tripped and it flew out of my hand into the kitchen sink. I think it would last a lifetime if you don’t drop it like I did.

Love this teapot…. I have purchased quite of few of these clay tea kettles over the years and as a tea drinker, I swear it makes the tea have a more unadulterated flavor. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I can’t quite find the right words to compliment this tea kettle. The little cast iron pots seemed more complicated, so I have not tried them, and I hate the look of a regular tea kettle permanently residing on my stove. So this is it. My husband likes how it makes his drip coffee taste as well. The pure essence…

Our bad. With the last one we found a crack … We’ve been using these tea kettles for over a decade. We’ve too often gotten careless, letting water boil out and the kettle shatters. Our bad.
