Le Creuset dribbles The tea pot is high quality in many ways… but has a big problem. No matter how carefully you pour water from it, a large puddle of boiling water ends up on the table! Water runs over the spout, and because of the shape of the lip a portion of the water runs down the spout instead of into the cup. Worth every penny if you want a teapot that will last Absolutely perfect. This replaced a tea kettle I’d had for several years–until I left it on the stove & forgot about it. Back to the review… I’m of the philosophy that you buy products that are designed to last rather than focusing on price. Although, price does play a factor. Sure, you’ll spend a little more on this teapot, but you likely won’t have to replace it for years–if ever.

As for all enameled cookware, it is possible to chip the finish. This has not yet…
