No. I purchased this to replace another Le Creuset that had rusted by the interior base of the pour spout. All I ever do in this kettle is boil water. That is it. I have the same problem with this kettle as the last. Where the side wall and the bottom of the pour spout, inside, is rusted. I have used this kettle for it’s intended purpose and it failed. Pretty pricy fail. Not worth it, it will not stand the test of time.
Love my red kettle! My second one. I love it. My first lasted 15 years before it started to corrode and rust on the inside. I keep water in it all the time, which is not recommended, but I use it every day. 15 years is alright by me!
