Heavy, sturdy Wonderful teapot, very heavy, large capacity: 4 cups of fine tea at a time! I realize now that’s it’s better to have wider teapot in oppose to a tall one. It makes a huge difference, since all the tea leaves get covered with water even if you are making half a teapot. It holds temperature well and for a long time. I use regular trivet.

Al says:

Nice solid tea pot This is a good solid tea pot. It is an old fashioned design but large enough for the modern tea drinker who want more than an 8 ounce cup. Properly taken care of it will last longer than its owner.
