Not 2.75L as described Instructions state to keep max fill 1/2″ below internal spout opening. That makes this a 1.7 L (max usable volume) kettle with a lot of internal dead space. Construction seems good.. Attractive finish/style. Will keep because I only need 1.5L for my coffee press.

Finally Found a Decent Tea Kettle Who knew it would be so difficult to find a decent tea kettle! This one is solid stainless steel and decent – no plastic, aluminum or rust spots. It is heavy when filled – needing two hands to pour. It is also tricky to pour out the last bit. However, it looks gorgeous, works on induction cooker, is easy to clean, and stays shiny. Whistle is sufficient, while whistle flipper and kettle handle stays cool after boiling. BTW, mine says made in China – not India as stated in Amazon’s product info.

Well received gift I bought this as a gift. The recipient was very pleased and it looks quite beautiful in person. They’ve only used it a few times yet but no complaints so far. The whistle is loud enough and no problems thus far. I’m jealous. I should have bought it for myself!
