Great pot but might want to invest in a new base warmer Love this tea pot and with this price it was a must have item. The only Draw back is the base the teapot must be placed on exactly and it will slide and wobble is you do not have it in the perfect spot. Overall I am very happy with the purchase but chances are I will replace the warmer with something a little more sturdy. I trust myself but others I think wont be so careful. I can use the warmer for a different tea pot although it may be a little close to the flame as it leaves soot that easily wipes I really teetered on removing a star. The teapot itself gets more than 5 stars but the problem is that when tea steeps for longer than a few minutes (depends on the tea) it can impart some bitterness especially if its a green tea. I don’t drink black tea at all so this may not be an issue for black tea so I didnt remove a star for the fact that you cant remove the tea leaves and still use the warmer.
