Crappy manufacturing It looks gorgeous in the picture , doesn’t it? But when you get it all of a sudden you are suprised with the lowest quality. the lowest quality soft plastic material which can easily be damaged. Outside of the metal pot is very well plated with nickel. But when you check inside, very poor plating is applied. Inside of the metal is not smooth. It is way rough. samovar The samovar is fine, but the packaging was terrible. I could not have given that ratty, tattered box to someone as a gift. It was packed inside another tattered box with a hodgepodge of 4 different types of packing materials and looked like it had been run over by a truck. Beware.
I love Ovente Samovar I use it on daily bases, very convenient for making large amount of tea, easy to use and maintain. I highly recomended it to tea lovers specialy for use with loose leaves
