Very serviceable teapot This is a very nice teapot. The color is pretty spot on with the picture on Amazon (I got the yellow), and it does hold the six cup capacity noted. This is a more typical English teapot, with a sort of strainer built into the spout. It really isn’t enough to keep the tea leaves in the pot, but if you are not using an infuser, it helps. It also has a d-shaped lid, which helps the lid to stay on while pouring.
Right size, classic shape, well-designed details make this little teapot a big shot Two cups of tea is just the right amount. The classic shape fits nicely in my hand and pours without spilling. The lid has what my husband the engineer calls a “key” — one side sticks out to catch, the opposite side is flat to force proper orientation. The result is that you can safely empty the teapot with no fear of the lid falling off. The happy red is only one of a rainbow of colors. I couldn’t be happier.
CHEERFULLY DONE a WELL DESIGNED 6 CUP (SMALL CUPS NOT MUGS) TEAPOT. NO PROBLEM WIH DRIPPING SO FAR AND DISHWASHER SAFE. MY HUSBAND PREFERRED THE YELLOW, I ANOTHER COLOR BUT THE YELLOW IS CHEERFUL AND BRIGHT. NO COMPLAINTS.
