Just drinking chemicals I use a kettle to heat water for my baby’s bottle. The coating of my old kettle starting flaking and everyone said to get a stainless steel kettle. On the second use, my baby’s bottle was full of silver flakes. So I re-washed the kettle and tried again. Even more flakes this time. I tested the water coming out of our faucet and out of the water filter, both were flake free. So, unfortunately, I can’t give this kettle a good review and it’s back to the drawing board.

It will get you by but you might want something better This kettle had a bad old fishy/smoke salmon smell to it but after washing it out it was ok. The handle seems like it might not last the longest I suggest not filling it for more then one or two cups of water
