Looks nice and does the job I’m no tea connoisseur, but this tin keeps my matcha safe and dry. The inside plastic sealing lid seems to keep the contents airtight. The exterior Washi coating is more thick and durable than I was expecting, and looks very nice (and brings me fond memories of Japan).

Like it I bought several of these at once. They are very pretty and full of color. All of my tea tins are blue and it gives me the opportunity to keep up with that trend. It’s a tea tins, and it serves it’s purpose. The only thing that I don’t like about it, is that I had dumped all of my tea in it, and then I wanted to put the tea in plastic Ziploc bags to keep it fresh a little longer, especially since it can get humid, and it was hard to get the tea out of the crevices in the bottom.
