This was exactly what I needed but I should have … This was exactly what I needed but I should have listened to the reviews. The box is poorly constructed – very cheaply made – and it arrived missing the hinge pin that holds the lid to the box. It’s being returned and not reordered.
Great tea box for the money. Goes pretty well with oak cabinets. For the price, I don’t know if this can be beat. It looks nice on our counter (actually goes fairly well with our oak cabinets), and holds a good quantity of tea. Construction seems solid. Only time will tell if hinges and gluing are good, but nothing so far causes me to be concerned. The fit and finish is decent, but not perfect. The wooden lid hangs over on one side more than the other. But again, for the price, no problem. And sitting on the counter, you couldn’t tell unless you…
