A slightly different English Breakfast I am on the fourth bag of this tea (yes, I drink a lot of tea). This tea is nice, but be prepared that it might taste a little different from the English Breakfast blends that you might be used to drinking from Twinings or other purveyors. Not English Breakfast Don’t Bother – Used Davidson’s Loose Tea I didn’t believe the negative reviews saying this didn’t taste like English Breakfast tea. I just though they weren’t adding enough tea or were brewing it too long making it bitter. I added the same amount of tea that I use with the Davidson loose leaf tea and brewed it for 4 minutes. Something was very off Normally I’m really forgiving of teas, but this was undrinkable for me. I even got it to use as a base for my iced tea and threw lemon and sweetener in it and even that couldn’t disguise the weird weird flavor. It was almost like a cross between cows and chemicals.
