Oolong is a specialty, which had originally been produced in the Taiwanese mountains. After plucking, the teas are prefermented by approximately 50 % and then wilted in the sun. Frequent turning of the tea in bamboo baskets during the drying process allows the Oolong to develop a mild aroma and a large, wildly curled leaf.

Lucero De La Tierra says:

Not what I expected. I purchased this loose leaf tea to make kombucha and also for consumption as hot tea. The expected spiciness from the Oolong I’d become accustomed to and expected was missing or at least very, very faint. My first batch of kombucha made from this tea ended up falling very flat compared to one made with a different brand. The tea itself seemed old and on the verge of going stale. I cannot recommend this tea.
