Thirty years ago in Salisbury, Connecticut, proprietor of the historic White Hart Inn, John Harney, developed a passion for fine teas. Starting production out of his basement in 1983, John began his own journey in mastering the craft of tea blending. Serving his distinctive blends to inn guests, he soon found they were coming back for more. Never did John Harney imagine that his small home-run business in Salisbury, Connecticut would turn into a global operation. The company, which sources, blends, and packages their own product from start to finish, has grown from their original six teas, to more than three hundred. Harney & Sons was founded on a commitment to deliver customers the finest quality tea possible. This promise, made 30 years ago, serves as the company’s guiding principle. Our favorite tea I first tried this tea at Einstein Bros. Bagels, and it is the only tea the we drink now. It has the greatest flavor, and is the finest tea that I have ever tasted. I have offered it to many friends that do not like tea and they have tried it and loved it. We all like it without cream or sugar, the flavors are so rich and vibrant that it easily stands on its own.

Stale–sold 6 months past expiration date! Check the date (numbered backwards) on the bottom. Sold 6 monthspast the expiration date and tastes like it! I’ve had Y & B fresh from Harney. This stale product isn’t worth your money.

Not good This tea has a very nice aroma, and I thought from the smell it would be citrussy- I was wrong – the green tea is very strong and completely overwhelms the citrus flavor. After it steeps for a while it tastes like moss. YUCK
