Like this but love their Sencha so much more – 100 bags at a time, a good deal I bought this producer’s Brown Rice Green Tea with Matcha and their Sencha Green Tea. (Cha means tea in Chinese/Japanese so I guess that’s redundant like Shrimp Scampi, but anyway…). Having never drunk either before, I brewed both in green tea temp hot water, 175 degrees, for 2 minutes, which I understand is the right amount of time, though it seems short. However, both tasted full-bodied at 2 mins. It’s not a strong flavor, but each tasted distinctive. This rating is in comparison to the 5…

Truth in Advertising? I think not! I am a connoisseur of Japanese team specifically, Genmaicha. This is green tea, with crisped rice in it, sometimes called “popcorn” tea, because of the way the rice puffs-up, or “Brown Rice Tea”. It always has “Matcha” in it, which is finely-ground green tea, almost a powder, but also has crisped rice in it. A simple Google image search will show you what it is supposed to look like.
