Taiwan’s central mountain range is truly something to behold. With almost 300 peaks reaching over 10,000 feet in altitude, its no wonder why Taiwan is often referred to as “the Alps of Asia”. Nestled deep in the center of this picturesque range is Taiwan’s famous Ali Mountain. This majestic mountain is known throughout Asia for two remarkable features: Its breath taking sunrise and its exceptional high mountain oolong tea.Though many of Taiwan’s mountains cultivate high mountain oolong teas, none garner quite the notoriety as the oolong teas farmed on Ali Mountain. Taiwan Tea & Co.’s Ali Mountain Oolong tea is naturally farmed (in micro batches) at altitudes between 4300 – 5000 feet (1300 – 1500 meters) above sea level. The low temperatures and consistent fog cover produce the ideal conditions for oolong tea cultivation. The result is an elegant tea that is soft in tannins with a rich, nutty flavor. As no pesticides, preservatives or other chemical additives are used during production; Taiwan Tea & Co.’s high mountain oolong is as pure and safe as it is delicious. Taiwan’s high mountain oolongs are widely considered the best in the world, so you can rest assured that every time you brew cup of Taiwan Tea & Co. Ali Mountain Oolong, you are drinking the best of the best.

Arrived opened. Yuck. The outer safety seal tape and inner bag were both cut open when I got the tea, even though the Amazon sticker on the bottom says it’s a new item. Who would want used food?
