Tega Organic Rooibos Green Tea is a fair trade and organic certified tea, sustainably harvested in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. Green Rooibos is a twist on the traditional fermented variety of the Rooibos plant. Green Rooibos is steamed immediately after harvest, to stop the fermentation process from beginning. The Rooibos leaves remain their natural green colour and have a lighter taste than fermented Rooibos. Pure Green Rooibos has a taste reminiscient of traditional green tea, but also similar to that of Red Rooibos. We recommend this tea to anyone who loves to drink Green Tea and is looking for a smoother, caffeine-free alternative.

I was excited to find that this green rooibos tea comes close to the taste of regular green tea maybe mixed with a little black tea. It has a delicate flavor but is a bit stronger than regular green tea – I let it steep at…
