The Tao of Tea, Black Tips Black Tea, Loose Leaf is made with 100 percent Organic Black Tea Leaves. Bright, fruity aroma. Full-bodied yet light with mild astringency. Can be enjoyed with or without milk. Ceylon Black Tips is a Orange Pekoe (OP) Grade, and comes from the Bogawantalwa Valley in the Dimbulla region with elevation ranging from 1100 to 1300 meters. This estate is renowned for the production of quality organic black teas. Tea purists seek only the clean, clear and pure flavor of the leaf. This is because the unadulterated leaf has the capacity to provide an experience which has inspired many artists, musicians, philosophers and monks. Our company is based on this premise and offers great quality leaf that is fresh, flavorful and full of soul. Only a small portion of all tea made in the world comprises the ‘orthodox’ or full leaf style of processing. In addition, only a few tea areas remain where ‘old-style’ hand processing is still practiced from tea plants that grow wild or those that have been preserved for centuries. The Tao of Tea works primarily with tea growers that practice this true art of tea making.

It’s okay. This tea is okay but really I do not think it has much flavor. As a matter of fact I add a little of my favorite Darjeeling with this to give it some flavor. Don’t know if I got an off batch (if there is such a thing) or what but I probably won’t be ordering this again.

Smooth brew I love this tea! Hubby and I brew pots of tea all day, every day and this is one of our favorites. It makes a nice, rich tea, that stands up to milk, but it isn’t over powering when drank black. It also makes a lovely iced tea. I highly recommend this to any tea lover.
