Great for making tea, but very fragile I bought two, one for my wife to use at home and one for me to use at the office. the units are nice and tea comes out tasting great. problem is, tea stains everything. and in order to clean the unit you need to dismantle some pressed-together pieces to get to scrubbing the brown stains off everything in there. it seriously looks bad after running a few cups of black tea.problem with that is, if you accidentally drop the base from too high from the counter, it is VERY fragile and…
I”ve been using these for over 10 years, recommend I drink lots of tea and this is my favorite brewer. This is my first second-generation model. Only real difference is the oblong shape, which I do not like because it is much easier to have boiling water spill onto your hand at the handle.
