Most impressive. I originally had the plastic version of this product and loved it but it eventually cracked under heat stress. I figured that this steel model wouldn’t have that issue and i was not disappointed. This is very solidly made. Where some users report the lid not fitting properly when the contents are at room temperature, mine secured firmly right out of the box and maintained that seal when hot. It is not 100% leak proof however, it was never designed to be, this is done to facilitate the press. Do…

Perfect Mug I’ve read a lot of complaints about the filter not touching bottom. I’m pretty sure Bodum researched this. This mug holds 15 oz of water, which calls for about 26g’s of ground coffee. If you have the right about of ground coffee, it should push the grounds snugly to the bottom separating water from beans.

Typical Bodum i got this for work since the Keurig is the only option. I have a single serve Bodum French press at home and have the same issues as the travel mug. The press allows a lot of coffee grinds up into the coffee and this travel mug does not keep the coffee warm long. I typically pour the coffee out of the press & into a coffee cup. Also, the press stops about 2 inches from the bottom of the mug.
