I am disappointed in the colors of the mug and also its … I am disappointed in the colors of the mug and also its “mass produced” appearance and feel. The purple on my mugs is very dark, almost a “black purple.” And the cream is very dark also. Very drab colors. If you are looking for a mug that gives off that happy morning feeling, this may not be the mug for you. I’ll probably use it for hot chocolate at night.
Unhappy with the Colors I am unhappy with the colors of the mug. On Amazon, the colors of the Bird mug appear to be a slate blue and cream. In reality, the mug is gray and yellow. Gray and yellow are my least favorite colors. I would not have ordered had I known the true colors of the mug. I do still like the mug, but I’m not as happy with it as I thought I would be.
New favorite! I bought this as a spare mug just for me – the first morning it was in the cupboard, my husband snagged it for his coffee – same the next day – so I came back and bought the Bird cup and the Llama one too – they are our favorite mugs, generously sized, feel great in the hand! Now we just fight over who gets the Llama which is the favorite of the 3!
