Exactly what I was looking for! Pros: Exactly what I was looking for! Seems well made and sturdy, large basket, ultra fine holes, lid can be used as a coaster when done steeping, and it fits my 20 oz mug. Plenty of room in basket, 3 tbsp of loose leaf tea fills the basket about 3/4 of the way when expanded with plenty of room to spare for more. Ultra fine holes did not allow any of the finely shredded peppermint leaf that I added to get through.
Silicone makes this one perfect! I’ve tried several of this style tea infusers but this will be my last one. It fits perfectly on my 14 oz. Lang mugs. The silicone handles make all the difference. I can lift the lid and remove the infuser without hot, hot fingers now. I’ve had no problems with tea leaves or dregs on the bottom of the mug either. The price on this is excellent but it’s the silicone that makes it the winner! I’ll be buying more for gifts.
Nice infuser for cups Nice infuser. Fine mesh that holds the leaf bits. I will use it for cups.It is just a little bit shorter in total diameter than I expected so it will not work for my main teapot and it’s too expensive to return.
