Bee House Japanese teapots gently set the tone at tea time. This larger round version is elegant and practical. These teapots are easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and work well heating water in a microwave (with stainless steel lid and infuser removed) Bee House 26oz Teapots fit both sizes of the Bee House coffee dripper, but would probably work better with the larger dripper. It uses a medium lid, and a large Bee House replacement infuser basket. Please note that all our Japanese teapots are pretty small – you can fit 26oz of water in these filled to the top, but you can’t brew more than about 20oz comfortably in this size teapot. Bee House (Zero Japan) ceramic products are manufactured in the Gifu prefecture, the center of Japanese ceramics for many centuries. The Bee House name is used in North America and was inspired by the concept of a group of dedicated people working closely together to create well-designed, simple and functional products.

Love my BeeHouse teapot, buzz buzz. This is a really well made teapot. I like that the hinged lid comes off for easy cleaning and microwave use. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the description says it has a 26 oz. capacity. I measured the amount of water it held first, so I knew how much green tea to add to the infuser. It only held 2 cups liquid measure. Only 16 oz. That said, I did order it because it was a little larger and I was able to have a few cups of tea from one pot. I am keeping it because I really like…

Perfect It is perfect for me. I boil my water in a tea kettle. I can fill this teapot up and add one bag of tea to the strainer and I will get two full mugs. If i know i’ll want more than that, I’ll just pour more hot water from my kettle into the teapot (still using the same teabag) and i’ll get another mug. It cleans well and is well made. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Broke soon after purchased. I’ve purchased two different teapots made by Beehouse. Both had issues soon after purchase. For this teapot, the place where the top part of the handle attaches to the teapot cracked off. I’m not sure how it happened, as I am very careful with my teapots. In the second Bee House teapot I bought (same model as the white one, different color), a hairline crack started at the top of the teapot and went all the way down the teapot, making it leak and rendering it useless. I’m also not sure how that…
