Cute and dangerous I ordered this kettle in March – the result of my search for a “whistling kettle”. I’m inclined to forget if I put the kettle on in the afternoon so I need a good whistle. The whistle on this kettle died after 6 weeks. This afternoon I unfortunately forgot I had the now silent kettle on. When I walked into the kitchen, the cheap plastic handle had gone up in flames. I have never had a kitchen fire before. Avoid this kettle if you’re looking for a whistler!
cute but…. dont expect a whistle and its not entirely safe but its soooo cute. Dont use it too much and youll be happy with it.
Poor product Many of the products I have purchased through Amazon have been very good. Unfortunately, the honey bee tea kettle is not one of them. After one heating on low, the enamel finish burned off in two places.
