It is a kettle It is a kettle. Put it on heat it gets hot. Water stays in it when it should, comes out when it should. Whistle flap could open wider for more efficient pouring.
This tea kettle has a nice look, but the finish is not durable This tea kettle has a nice look, but the finish is not durable. I set the burner on high to bring it to boiling, and returned to find that the red paint had melted off the bottom of the kettle and was sticking to my glass top stove. Still can’t get the red paint off the burner. I will never use it again.
I love the looks of it and it seems well built … I love the looks of it and it seems well built except for the spout. The button for the spout is awkward and is difficult to open. The spout won’t stay open by itself, you have to hold it open while you’re pouring.
