Beautiful little set I actually bought this as a first tea set for my granddaughter. Because her parents so honor eastern practices, this was the perfect set for her. It did not disappoint!! I know that she will get lots of use out of it, and I was really impressed, as were her parents, with the quality of the set. The cups are beautifully simple, the pot as well. the bamboo tray brings it all together and the case makes storage easy.
The cups are meant to be that small. My husband is a big tea fanatic and has wanted one of these sets for awhile, but the more true-to form ones need extra care…they dry out and crack if you don’t use them enough. This set is great though. Vintage enough to look great but more sturdy and doesn’t need the extra care.Also ignore all the bad reviews on the size of the cups. Good tea leaves are meant to steep many times and the tea gets better the more you brew it, which is why you have such a small pot and so many small…
