Very Cute! This is a great looking kettle that’s just as functional. It’s definitely not quiet when your water is boiling, but that is the point of a steam whistle! The top pops snugly into place and there’s no risk of it falling out or moving around, and for such a lightweight kettle, it is surprisingly high quality.
But the worst part was the first time (and only time) we … This tea kettle was so cute (and the name of our daughter…points won for that one) but sadly, it is cheaply made. The handle got too hot, the metal was thin and “tinny”. But the worst part was the first time (and only time) we heated water in it, the whole house stunk of melting plastic. We looked at the kettle and the color was melting off. Yuck!If this company made this exact tea kettle, but better quality, I would buy it again.
So cute! Love the design of this kettle. It holds a lot of water, the handle is heat resistant, and it whistles!! I am giving this product a 4 out of 5 because although I still love the color, it does not look like the photo. Also, the pull trigger of the spout gets hot, so be careful!
