Really bad rust issues. Worthless within 4 months. I bought this product in November of 2015. In February of 2016 the product is already fairly rusty inside and leaking as a result. I grew up using tea kettles and they usually lasted at LEAST 10 years. I think for a kettle to rust through in less than 4 months is terrible. But Amazon’s return policy will not allow it to be returned/replaced.

Looks nice for a little while, but has longevity issues. Works good. Only looks good for a short time. The metal is thin.It works. Cleans up okay too. It’s loud too – good whistle. We noticed early on that if we scrubbed the outside too hard, the purple would come off. Now, some 3 years later – looks like the purple color is done. Not a good quality coating system.
